Discover the Hidden Gems of Oregon State Parks: Reserve Your Spot Now!

At many campgrounds and parks with group day-use facilities, you can make reservations. Although camping reservations aren't mandatory, it's recommended to secure your spot and any necessary facilities, as they tend to fill up quickly. Here are some other essential points to take note of:

Reservations can be made up to six months in advance for stays that begin one day after the reservation date. This new reservation timeframe policy came into effect on January 14, 2021. Every day, new sites become available for reservation at 6 a.m. An reservation fee is charged for each reservation made, regardless of whether you make the reservation online or call in. You will receive a confirmation letter via mail within 7-10 days or within an hour via email. Adults above 18 years must confirm all reservations, and minors must be accompanied by an adult at the site. Horse camping sites only accommodate personnel camping with their horses or other pack animals. Some campsites operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Please refer to the individual park pages for season dates and reservation information. Yurts and cabins require reservations before use.

    Payment

When making a new reservation or changing an existing one, payment is required in full.

Online reservations can be paid using Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. When making reservations over the phone, you can also pay through gift certificates if the reservation is 10 days or more away.

    Changes and Cancellations

You can change reservations online or by calling 800-452-5687 during working hours (8 a.m–5 p.m. Monday through Friday). Transaction fees apply to all changes. Our Change Reservation page provides detailed information on this topic. You can cancel campsite, cabin, or yurt reservations by phone or online up to one day before your scheduled arrival. Call the park directly if you need to cancel on the day of your arrival. Transaction fees apply, and our Cancel Reservation page provides further information on cancellation policies. Note that group camps and group picnic areas have different cancellation policies and windows. Only the reservation's named person can alter or cancel a reservation.

    Camping without a Reservation

At campgrounds that accept reservations, unreserved sites are available for one night without a reservation. If you want to stay more than one night, please book your reservation at oregonstateparks.reserveamerica.com or check with a park ranger. Our Camping without a Reservation page provides more information.
