Maintaining the ,

, tags structure is crucial. The initial day of arrival was marred by a swarm of ants that had invaded the women's shower room from below the door. I reported the issue to the maintenance personnel who was mowing the lawn at the time. His response was that we ought to expect such occurrences, given that we were in a state park in the middle of the woods. Nonetheless, despite the explanation, the ants persisted for three more days until I alerted the ranger, Jamie, who was a wonderfully helpful person. She quickly had the area sprayed and got rid of the ants. The region experienced a series of storms that brought down trees, which was quite scary as they fell in unexpected directions. The branches fell as early as 6 AM, causing fear and panic, but fortunately, none landed on anyone or on the campers. The trees appeared rotted and dead, and it seemed like a good idea to remove them, as they posed a dangerous threat to the visitors. The park personnel were less than perfect, with one person at the gate being unpleasant to people checking in. I was unable to get the lady's name, but she was older, and it was quite disconcerting. I spent four days in the park, and apart from the unpleasant lady, the facility was nice. The state park needs better care from the maintenance workers, as there is so much more to do beyond mowing the grass and calling it a day. This was quite disappointing, as it appears to be a beautiful park with great potential. 6/10/2016 8:27:28 AM Henrys Lake State Park by Pablodelux

Unforgettable State Park - I had an excellent experience at this state park, which was in proximity to West Yellowstone. The fishing experience was a bit of a disappointment, though, as it had gone downhill following the introduction of ice fishing and decreased stocking. 5/21/2016 6:21:42 AM Lewis-Clark Canoe Camp State Park

A Favorite Lewis and Clark Destination - On our way from Lolo, Montana to Lewiston, Idaho, we randomly stopped at this park in May and were accorded the warmest of welcomes. This stop was different, as we felt closer to Lewis and Clark's voyagers than any other site on our trip. As we walked to the river, we visualized the men working on the canoes despite their illness. 8/26/2015 11:50:35 PM Balanced Rock Park by Jim Cooper

Family Rich History in the Park - A glimpse of a photo of my dad, my grandparents, and Balanced Rock circa 1910, when they ranched close to Filer, was among my cherished family memorabilia. In 2004, I had the opportunity to visit this park and camp at the County Park, which was a beautiful experience. 7/17/2015 5:46:21 PM Horsethief Reservoir State Park by MytMouse

First-Timer in the Park - We opted to camp in this park because of the rumor going around that the fish were biting. However, our experience was not entirely what we had expected. We, unfortunately, could not locate the public water pump or the massive dock that stood out in some of the pictures on the website. Despite these relatively minor issues, we had a great time in the park. 1/24/2015 9:40:13 PM Farragut State Park by The Clarks

If you're planning a visit to Idaho's verdant forests and are searching for a great place to stay or camp, look no further than the English Point National Recreation Trail. This trail boasts not only lush greenery but also plenty of water-based activities for outdoor enthusiasts.

However, it's important to note that Idaho allows trapping in this area, and two dogs have tragically been killed in traps that can be placed as close as five feet from the center of the trail. As such, visitors must exercise caution in this regard.

Alternatively, if you're looking for a peaceful and bug-free spot to explore, consider the Chipmunk Rapids National Recreation Trail. One satisfied visitor relished the experience of strolling down this fully dry trail, which is an excellent location for observing local wildlife such as moose, elk, cats, and coyotes. You'll also come across a diverse array of flora, including St. Johns wort, strawberries, pearly everlasting, and huckleberries. Rose hips make a tasty snack, and visitors can rest easy knowing their parked vehicles are secure. Be sure to check out the reviews section to get a sense of what other outdoor enthusiasts have to say. Lastly, you can use the navigation options to find the perfect trail in your desired region.
