WildWater Cullman is one of the fruits of the labor of the Cullman Parks, Recreation and Sports team.
“For numerous years, our community members and entrepreneurs have been pondering about the need for increased outdoor and indoor recreational activities in our neighborhood. Historically, our families have had to travel out of the area to avail themselves of exciting places like WildWater. Due to this requirement, we have prioritized the enhancement of many of our current parks and indoor sports centers to better accommodate the necessities of our residents. Then, we shifted our focus to develop WildWater into a water park attraction with regional significance. We’ve also erected the most extensive inflatable aqua park in Alabama at Palomino RV Resort, initiated the construction of a top-notch skate park in the center of our downtown area, and very recently, have scheduled the opening of a 130,000 square-foot indoor Sports and Events Complex slated for 2024.”
