The Car License Plate Game

It's fun to play a game in the car where you try to spot license plates from all 50 states. The simplest way to play is for everyone to go outside and look for license plates on cars, with players scoring points whenever they spot a plate from a state other than the one they are currently in. Only one instance of a given state can be considered. Some people prefer to give points only to the first player to spot a particular license plate, depending on how competitive the group is. At the end of the game (or when the car ride, or a set timeframe, or a break comes), the player with the most points wins.
